Mohammad Barrangi is an Iranian-born, UK-based artist whose distinct visual language blends Persian calligraphy, ancient storytelling, and contemporary illustration. Working primarily in ink and handmade paper, Barrangi fuses traditional techniques with a surreal, almost dreamlike sensibility—his figures often defy scale, time, and gravity, creating a world entirely his own.

His work has been acquired by some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection Trust, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, among others.
