Illuminate your space with a timeless design that seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern aesthetics.
Historic Provenance
The Thomas Floor Lamp is an homage to the intricate Chinese fretwork that first appeared in England in the early 18th century. By the midcentury, it became a hallmark of elegant furniture, as seen in Thomas Chippendale’s (British, 1718–1779) influential 1754 publication, Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker’s Director. The model for the pair of mahogany candlestands (1755–60) that inspired this lamp was featured in the first edition of Chippendale’s book.
